  • Boil water in a pot over medium heat.
  • Add the oat flour while stirring with a wooden spoon until smooth and lump-free.
  • Cover with a lid, reduce to low heat and simmer for 2 minutes.
  • Turn and pull against the pot a few times. Once you're happy with the texture, remove it from the heat and serve!

Notes

  • Make homemade oat flour by putting rolled oats in a blender. 
  • Alternatively, to make fufu, add porridge oats and water to a food blender, soak for a minute, then blend until smooth. Transfer the mixture to a pot of boiling water and cook on medium heat, stirring, turning, and pulling against the pot until it thickens.
