Ingredients

  • 2 cups rolled oats (old fashioned oats)
  • 2 tbsp peanut oil (or any oil)
  • 3 tbsp peanut butter
  • 4 tbsp honey (or maple syrup)
  • A pinch of salt
  • 1 tsp cinnamon
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract

Instructions

  • Preheat the air fryer (or oven) to 150º for five minutes.
  • In a microwave-safe bowl, add peanut butter and honey.
  • Heat the mixture until warm and runny.
  • Add peanut nut oil, cinnamon, vanilla extract, and sea salt.
  • Then, mix everything together.
  • Stir in the rolled oats with a spatula.
  • Spread the granola mixture in a lined air fryer basket or tray.
  • Air fry or bake the granola at 150ºC for ten minutes.
  • Mix slightly (without breaking the clusters, if preferred).
  • Air fry for five more minutes.
  • Set aside to cool and crisp.
  • Once happy with the flavor and texture, serve and enjoy!

Notes

  1. Preheat the oven or air fryer before cooking the granola. 
  2. Feel free to substitute honey and peanut oil.
  3. Don’t overmix the granola.
  4. Let it cool before serving or storing.
