  • 5 Slices yam
  • 3 cups water

Instructions

Prepare the fresh yam.

  • Chop and peel the yam.
  • Rinse it in a bowl of water.
  • Drain the water and transfer the yam slices into a pressure cooker or pot with water just enough to cover the yam.
  • Check if the yams are soft enough by piercing them with a fork.

Use the stand mixer.

  • Add a bit of the water from boiling the yam for a thick consistency.
  • Continue mixing until soft, light, and smooth.
