Ingredients

  • 2 cups yam flour
  • 2 cups water (boiled)

Instructions

  • Boil water in a pot.
  • Add the pounded yam flour while mixing with a wooden spoon.
  • Keep stirring until it is smooth and sticky.
  • Add a bit of hot water and reduce to low heat.
  • Cover and leave to steam for three to five minutes.
  • Stir until the pounded yam is smooth.
  • Serve it with your favorite stew or soup!

  • Stirring as you add the pounded yam flour will help avoid lumps.
