  • 1 coconut

Instructions

Prepare the coconut.

  • Position the coconut on a napkin or cloth on a flat surface.
  • Locate and pierce the soft eye and a second eye with a screwdriver.
  • Move the screwdriver around to make a hole.
  • Pour out the coconut water into a bowl.
  • Break the coconut using a hammer or similar tools and remove the husk to expose the coconut meat.
  • Then, slice the coconut meat into pieces, depending on your preference.

Toast them.

  • Evenly distribute the coconut slices in a pan and toast them over low heat for a minute.
  • Turn them over and toast or roast for another minute or until lightly brown.
  • Once content with the doneness, remove the chips from the heat.
  • Allow the chips to cool at room temperature before serving or storing them!

  • You can also cook the coconut slices in the air fryer, oven, or microwave.
