Ingredients

  • 200 g bananas (overripe)

  • 25 g cashews (chopped)
  • 25 g almonds (chopped)

Instructions

  • Prepare the dry ingredients.
    Mix the flour, cane sugar, baking powder, bicarbonate of soda, nutmeg, and milled linseed in a large bowl.

  • Make the batter.
    In a separate bowl, mix eggs, vanilla extract, evaporated milk, and salted butter.
    Use a masher to mash the bananas into the wet mixture.

  • Add the wet ingredients to the dry ingredients.
    Stir the mixture with a spatula until well combined.
    Then, add in the almonds and cashews.

  • Bake it.
    Pour the batter in the greased baking pan.
    Cover the pan with parchment paper.
    Bake it in the oven at 160°C for 50 to 55 minutes.

  • After 25 minutes, remove the parchment paper and continue to bake.
    Check for doneness using a cake tester or a skewer before removing from heat.
