  • Peel the mango with a peeler.
  • Slice the mango into cubes using a knife.
  • Remove the peel of the apple.
  • Core and chop the apple using an apple corer and slicer.
  • Then, boil water in a pot.
  • Place a steaming basket in the pot.
  • Steam the apples first for three minutes over medium heat.
  • Add the mangoes to the steaming basket.
  • Steam for three more minutes.
  • Once soft, remove them from heat and let them cool.
  • Transfer the fruits to a blender.
  • Then, add a bit of water from steaming.
  • Blend the contents until smooth.
  • Pour the puree into a baby bowl to serve!

  • Buy fresh apples and mangoes for a healthy puree. 
  • Use a food processor, mortar and pestle, knife, masher, or sieve to puree. 
  • Steam the fruits to soften them for blending.
