Roast the peanuts. Add raw peanuts to the air fryer basket.Use a spatula to spread the peanuts in the air fryer basket evenly. Set the air fryer at 200°C (or 400°F) and the cooking time to 8 minutes. Air fry the peanuts. Shake, toss or mix the peanuts with a spatula for even browning at the 4-minute mark.Continue air-fry for another 4 minutes or until they are perfectly roasted.Once completely roasted, set aside to cool at room temperature. Peel the peanuts. Spread the roasted peanuts on a tray. Take a handful of the peanuts and peel the seed coats by rubbing them between your hands.Repeat this process until the seed coats are completely peeled off the peanuts. Separate the peanuts from the seed coatsAir fryer methodPlace the air fryer rack in the air fryer pot. Place a heat-proof plate on the rack and spread the roasted peanuts on the plate. Set the air fryer at the lowest temperature (150 ºC) and air fry for 1 minute. Allow the fan to blow away the seed coats into the pot. Blow dryer methodAlternatively, place a splatter screen on top of the air fryer and use a blow dryer to separate the seed coats from the peanuts.
