Instructions

Green Plantain French Fries

  • Use a knife to peel the plantain.
  • Slice the plantains into french fries by cutting it into strips. You can also use a vegetable slicer.
  • Season the strips with sea salt. 
  • In a pan, heat oil over medium fire.
  • Saute the onion to infuse it into the oil.
  • Then, remove the onion.
  • Deep fry the green plantains fries until golden and crispy.
  • Remove the fries from heat with a strainer skimmer.

FOR THE FRIED PEPPER SAUCE

  • Finely chop the onion, garlic, tomatoes, red bell peppers, and sweet peppers with a knife.
  • Heat oil in a frying pan over medium heat.
  • Then, saute onions, garlic, tomato, red bell pepper, sweet pepper.
  • Season them with crushed crushed chili, curry powder, all purpose seasoning, mixed herbs, and a pinch of sea salt. 
  • Allow the sauce to fry until cooked.
