Pear Baby Puree (Stage One)

Ingredients

  • 1 pear (medium-sized), peeled and deseeded
  • 1 cup water (for steaming)

Instructions

  • Rinse them and peel the pear using a knife or a peeler.
  • Slice it into pieces.
  • Pour half a cup of water into a pot.
  • Then, place a steaming basket in the pot.
  • Arrange the fruits in the steaming basket.
  • Let it steam on medium heat for ten minutes or until soft.
  • Transfer the steamed contents into a blender or food processor.
  • Add some water or formula, or breast milk for a smoother consistency. 
  • Blend until smooth. 
  • Finally, pour the puree into a baby bowl for feeding time!
