Make the pepper sauce

  • Heat oil in a pot over medium fire.
  • Pour in the pepper sauce and cook for five minutes.
  • Add the mixed herbs, curry powder, knorr cubes, sea salt, tomato puree, and meat liquid stock.
  • Stir the contents with a spatula.
  • Cover and cook for 10 minutes.

Prepare the rice

  • Put the basmati rice in a bowl.
  • Rinse and drain several times.

Cook the Concoction Rice

  • Spread the rinsed rice into the sauce.
  • Let it cook for five minutes.
  • Place aluminum foil under the pot lid to steam for 15 minutes.
  • Then, add the sliced onions. Steam for two more minutes.
  • Add the smoked mackerel chunks.
  • Toss in the tomato slices and steam for three more minutes.
  • Mix the contents with a spatula.
  • Once happy with the flavor and texture, put the rice in a dish and serve!

  • Prepare homemade pepper sauce and store it for future use. 
  • Smoke your mackerel at home by cooking it in the oven. 
  • Rinse the basmati rice to get rid of excess starch.
