Ingredients

  • 4 cocoyam (large-sized)
  • 2 cooking spoons water
  • sunflower oil (enough to deep fry)

Instructions

  • Use a knife to peel the cocoyam.
  • Cut it to your preferred size and shape.
  • Rinse the cocoyam in a bowl of water.
  • Then, season it with salt.
  • Heat oil in a deep frying pan over medium heat.
  • Fry the cocoyam.
  • Add water to the oil.
  • Fry until the cocoyam is ready - soft on the inside and crispy on the outside.
  • Transfer the cocoyam to a lined plate.
