Ingredients

plantain
(large)

water

maple syrup
Instructions
Peel and slice the plantain into pieces with a knife.
Use a blender to puree it with water until smooth.
Then, pour water into a pot.
Let it boil over medium heat.
Add in the pureed plantains.
Continuously stir it with a spatula to prevent lumps.
Let it cook until it thickens to your desired consistency.
Then, reduce it to low heat before.
Season the porridge with maple syrup.
Once done, pour the contents into a bowl to serve and enjoy!

Notes
If you don’t have a blender, grate, and steam the green plantains before mashing.
Stir it continuously as you cook to prevent lumps in the porridge.
Adjust the water as you prefer.
