Ingredients

  • 1 tortilla made with plain flour
  • 50 g hotdog chicken
  • 3 tbsp mozzarella cheese grated
  • tsp butter for crepe pan
  • 1 egg

Instructions

  • Lightly brush the non-stick frying pan with butter or olive oil.
  • Heat the pan with butter or oil over medium heat. 
  • Then, slice the hotdogs with a knife.
  • Shred the mozzarella cheese with a grater.
  • Arrange the toppings on the tortilla.
  • Use the egg wash to fold the edges of the tortilla until you form a square tortilla.
  • Use a pastry brush to apply the egg wash over the edges and press them with the turner to seal them. 
  • Slowly let the egg white flow from the bowl into the tortilla.
  • Then, pour in the egg yolk in the middle.
  • Cover the pan with the lid .
  • Let it cook for 10 to 15 minutes or until you’re contented with the doneness of the egg.
  • Once done, remove it from heat and serve!

  • To make this recipe healthier, you can make your tortilla, purchase quality and diet-friendly ingredients, and try other nutritious fillings!
  • This dish is not safe for babies and toddlers younger than 2 years old.
  • If you want the egg to be cooked over hard, use the turner to flip the entire tortilla with the egg facing the bottom of the pan.
  • Don’t forget to brush the corners to prevent the tortilla from unfolding and keep the filling inside.
  • To avoid overflowing, you can reduce the number of hotdogs and cheese to fit the tortilla.
  • If you feel that there is not much space left, you can reduce the egg whites to leave space for the egg yolk.
  • To avoid overcooking or burning the tortilla, use a non-stick skillet greased with butter or oil.
  • Use oil with a high smoke point to retain the quality of the tortilla.
