Ingredients

  • 500 g dried spaghetti
  • 1 tsp coconut oil (or olive oil)
  • 1 tsp sea salt
  • 5 cups water

Instructions

  • Boil water in a pot over medium heat.
  • Add coconut oil.
  • Season it with sea salt.
  • Stir the mixture with a spatula.
  • Add in the spaghetti until submerged.
  • Spread the spaghetti evenly.
  • Cover and cook for ten minutes.
  • Separate the strands using a fork.
  • Cook for five more minutes.
  • Drain the pasta water into a bowl using a colander.
  • Serve the spaghetti on a plate and top it off with your favorite sauce or stew!

  • If you can twirl the spaghetti with your fork, it needs to cook more.
  • Use just enough salt to prevent the pasta from becoming salty.
